This is the first installment of My Opinions. As I work on this opinion, I am reminded of how powerful words can be. I have always thought that information is power, from the first time I was arrested(failure to heed a lawful order to disperse, which I beat) to now. As I watch our government try to restrict access to everything, it becomes imperative that sites like this go up. I will try to devote this site to providing access to all government sites. My links page  will take you to government sites that might be of interest.

   Every day the fed, state and local governments are thinking of ways to restrict our lives. From access to information to where we go to what we even think, the government wants to control us. Some say the government is made up of people just like you and me. What bull!!! I am not rich. I do not want to control anyone.I do not want to force anyone to think my way or else. The government is no longer We The People. The government is now made up with faceless corporations and special interests.

Flag wavers are the first to restrict your rights in the name of security. Every day people die in the name of security. They want to take away our weapons in the name of security.Call the cops they say. 99% of the time, the cops show up after the crime is committed. How secure do you feel? The police don't swear an oath to protect you with thier lives. They aren't there to die to save you. The army does that, but only from other governments. The Second Ammendment was written to protect us from our OWN government. Of course, the only people that know this are gun owners.
